GAME MECHANICS
How NationWars works under the hood
Presidential System
The top staker of each country automatically becomes its President. Leadership is determined by deposited NWARS balance in the country vault, making it a persistent status rather than a momentary spike.
- ►Presidents are tracked onchain.
- ►Staked NWARS balances determine presidential rank.
- ►Presidents can create and manage alliances, vote on nuke targets, and submit governance proposals.
Core Loop
- 01
Choose a Nation
Every country is a staking vault where players deposit NWARS tokens to build influence and compete for power.
- 02
Deposit & Withdraw NWARS
Deposit NWARS into country vaults to stake your support; withdraw at any time. A fee applies on each transaction, and referrers can earn a share of those fees. Note: staking is locked 1 hour before each nuke voting window and remains locked until the round completes.
- 03
Compete for the Presidency
Stake more NWARS than anyone else to become President. Leadership is recalculated automatically on every balance change.
- 04
Build Staking Power
A country's staking power is determined by the total NWARS deposited. Higher staking power means greater influence in the global rankings.
- 05
Form Alliances
Presidents can create alliances of up to three countries and coordinate power. Alliances compete against solo nations by combined staking power.
- 06
Vote & Execute Nukes
Nuke epochs are decided by country leadership, not the governance token. The top entity's presidents vote on a target; the nuke is then executed through the game pipeline with Chainlink VRF randomness.
- 07
Governance & Revival
NATIONWARS token holders can propose sanctions, fee changes, or emergency nukes through a timelocked governor. When a nation is eliminated, anyone can burn NATIONWARS to revive it and restart its lifecycle.
